Aloo Parantha is the undisputed king of Punjabi breakfasts, and at Kirat Dhaba, we make it just like it’s made in the homes of Punjab. Our whole wheat dough is rolled out and stuffed with a generous filling of mashed potatoes seasoned with cumin, green chillies, fresh coriander, amchur (dry mango powder), and a touch of garam masala. Each parantha is then cooked on a hot tawa (griddle) with ghee or butter until golden and flaky.
The result is a bread that’s crispy on the outside, soft and flavourful on the inside, with the comforting taste of home-style cooking. We serve our Aloo Parantha with a side of fresh yogurt (raita), tangy pickle (achaar), and a generous pat of butter — the classic Punjabi accompaniments.
